LAKE BOMOSEEN LODGE

Our beautiful venue has on-site lodging! Here you'll find newly renovated, updated, comfortable, relaxing rooms, condos, and cottages, all within steps of our ceremony site, lakeside cocktail hour, and reception!

Lake Bomoseen Lodge is situated on the edge of Lake Bomoseen, in the tiny village of Bomoseen, within the town of Castleton, Vermont. The lake sits in a valley surrounded by the Taconic mountain range. The western shoreline of the lake is a state park which stretches more than 2,000 acres, offering many recreational activities, and is a refuge and sanctuary for wildlife.

While you're there, be sure to take a swim in the lake or pool, relax on the beach or the lawn on a lounge chair, go out on a kayak, canoe or paddle board, or bounce around on the water trampoline. ALL of this is included in your stay. The lake is perfect for every kind of water sport and is chock-full of fish if you want to bring your boat. Their fire pits are available each night for ambiance! And you bet we'll be enjoying the fire every night. Join us!

It's also home to a delicious restaurant, The Taproom, which spans two floors and includes outdoor seating in warmer months. Their menu offers delicious pub-fare and a wide selection of craft brews and tasty cocktails & mocktails. The Taproom's menu changes seasonally, but we've never had a bad meal here.

We have a block of rooms on Saturday, August 24 and Sunday, August 25. Rooms are extremely limited on Saturday night, so please book ASAP if you're interested!

If you find they are sold out, but you are hopeful someone will cancel, please let us know. We will have a waitlist of interested people to assign any cancelled rooms to!

Whether you’re staying on the Lodge or not, you’re welcome to come by any time to say hello, drop off your stuff at our cottage, and enjoy the lakeside activities. Lake Bomoseen Lodge facilities are available to all of our guests for the whole weekend!

If you plan on celebrating with us until late on Sunday 8/25 (there are festivities until 2AM 8/26) and are staying elsewhere on Saturday, we recommend making the switch to LBL for Sunday night so you won’t have to worry about driving. Please note: there will not be transportation to other hotels.
